Computer Applications - Laura Willcox

Computer applications covers basic computer skills. We will start with internet safety and internet etiquette. During the course of the year, we will cover Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Students will create a number of projects during the course of the year using these various applications. They will also spend some time developing their keyboarding skills.

Advanced Computer Applications

This class is for those students who have already taken computer applications. It is designed to move at a faster pace and complete more in-depth projects.

If you ever have any question, comments, concerns about grades, assignments, Internet Safety or any other issues that concern your student, please do not hesitate to contact me. Laura Willcox

It is a violation of the student user agreement for students to chew gum in the computer lab. Students continue to violate this policy. As a result, I am having to implement a new classroom policy.

*********Each week students will start out with a participation grade of 100. Every time they violate the gum policy 10 points will be subtracted from the 100 points. For example: If the student chews gum two days during the week, she will get an 80 for the week in participation. If no gum is chewed for the week, she will get a 100 for the week.
