Anahuac Independent School District

DRESS CODE-POST HURRICANE HARVEY

In the wake of the losses suffered in the hurricane, Anahuac ISD is offering some flexibility in the standardized dress for each campus. For the month of September, students will not have to wear the collared polo shirts as required by Middle School and Elementary campuses. However, all other Student Handbook dress and grooming requirements apply, including but not limited to: modesty regulations; words, depictions and/or ads on shirts; jewelry, piercings, hair length and color; etc.

Anahuac ISD seeks to respond to this disaster with compassion and understanding leading to flexibility. Please note that AISD has resources to confidentially assist parents with replacing polo shirts and other items that were lost in the hurricane, so that all students are again in compliance on Monday, October 2. Please use the survey on the AISD website to communicate any needs that your children may have so that we can assist you.
